It’s a given that a professional photographer will be an integral part of your dream wedding in New Jersey, capturing candid and planned moments perfectly so you have memories that last forever. However, some people forget about the importance of considering photography displays while at the wedding reception itself. Displaying photographs at a wedding can be tremendously important, adding a depth of character and creativity to your festivities. In some cases, the photos on display at the wedding leave indelible impressions in the minds of your guests. Here are a few creative ways to display pictures at your wedding.
1. Synchronized invitations and signs. When you place a couples photograph in your wedding invitation, it might be helpful to use either the same photo or one from the same photo shoot as the sign for your wedding service. This is especially helpful for people who have larger wedding parties. Larger wedding parties mean larger venues, and larger venues mean that some guests could easily get lost. A few strategically placed photos will help guide all of your guests and reduce the chances of any of your guests having a mishap or being late. Synchronizing the pictures helps create a cohesive narrative your guests will appreciate
2. Table cards. With the possible exception of grandparents, guests most likely do not want a take-home gift with your photo on it like a mug or T-shirt. However, most guests will appreciate a photo of the happy couple adorning each table at the reception. To be creative with table cards, use a different photo for each table to encourage guests to mingle. Ideally, you can use humorous and lighthearted photos that will help your guests relax and laugh.
3. Live wedding pictures. Whether you like it or not, your guests will be live sharing photos they take on their smartphones and cameras. You might not be in control of the images they upload, but you can encourage tact and taste by proudly displaying a hastag on every table and on a large sign board so that you can manage your wedding photos on different social media feeds.
